Vermeer Corporation encourages people to continue developing their skills and successfully grow in their careers and contributions within the company. In support of these efforts, Vermeer offers tuition assistance to full-time employees who seek to further their education in order to maintain or advance existing skills, or to prepare them for future opportunities within the company. Courses and eligibility to participate must be pre-approved; program completion requirements must be met by the employee.

Vermeer University, the company's in-house training department, offers numerous opportunities for employees to enhance skills at no cost to the individual. Training within the areas of manufacturing and technical skills, professional skills, sales and service, and leadership training programs are just a few of these educational opportunities. Classes are held in the Vermeer Global Pavilion, a state-of-the-art facility that hosts many Vermeer events and activities.
